Before attending college in Florida, Chris worked for sixteen years at Stone Container in Jefferson, Ohio, where she mastered a multitude of jobs including inventory control, shipping and receiving, accounts receivable and payable, plus ten years in customer service.

Newly single, Chris made a change and moved to Florida where she worked as assistant to the Program Coordinator at Hawthorne, an adult retirement community. Chris maintained a busy schedule working full time and attending college part time until graduation. In early 1993, Chris moved to Atlanta and started working at Tents Unlimited in May 1993.

After five years with Tents Unlimited, Chris returned to a division of Stone Container in Atlanta. In a few short years, Chris was back at Tents Unlimited fulfilling the role of office manager. At that time, the only other employees were Dan Nolan and one salesperson, so she wore a lot of hats.

Chris’ education includes an Associate Degree in Business Management from Lake-Sumter Community College in Leesburg, Florida. Chris currently serves as controller of Tents Unlimited. She has been a valuable contributor to the company since its inception.
